September 5, 12, 19 & 26: Farmers’ Market at the Campbell Community Center
The weekly farmers’ market at the Campbell Community Center is always a great time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the market is being held in the parking lot of the Campbell Community Center (rather than the downtown area, where it was prior to the restrictions). Booths are spaced for social distancing, and there may be a short wait outside the market to comply with guidance on the number of visitors allowed at one time.
September 12: History Makers Film Screening
Check out the debut film screening of the movie History Makers, which details the evolution of the Morgan Hill Historical Society and its unique history park, Villa Mira Monte. Admission is free, and the screening is followed by a reception.
September 15: Chamber of Commerce’s Monthly Luncheon featuring Canine Companions
On September 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., join the Campbell Chamber of Commerce for its monthly luncheon with Canine Companions. Canine Companions is a nonprofit organization that trains and places service, assistance and facility dogs. Tickets range between $30 and $40 for the luncheon. You can register online for the event at CampbellChamber.net.
September 17: VinoPaint’s Online Painting Classes
Painting with a fun twist is on the menu with VinoPaint’s online painting class. You’ll paint a funky birdhouse in this “Home Sweet Home”-themed class. The class takes place over Zoom, but you get your own set of 12 premium acrylic paints, two fabulous paint brushes and extra supplies and templates. You can sign up for the class here.
